Chuck Behrman, a Los Angeles based commercial and fine art photographer, has been teaching Photography and Photoshop workshops in Los Angeles and the California Central Coast since 2005. He has been a part-time Photoshop instructor at Cal State Dominguez Hills since January 2010.

Now Chuck is offering an incredible workshop/intensive in the California Central Coast. The workshop is intended to enhance your landscape imaging skills both in capture and post-processing by using techniques such as RAW processing, panorama photography and both realistic and surrealistic high dynamic range imaging. You will learn how to turn your “picture” into a photograph. You will also learn how to prepare your photograph for fine art printing.

The “P4” workshop/intensive is a highly energetic combination of digital photography opportunities and image processing instruction. The setting is the beautiful California Central Coast community of Pismo Beach, just south of San Luis Obispo. The photographic opportunities will be at sunrise and sunset in the areas adjacent to the hotel accommodations. The classroom time, concentrating on techniques applicable to Photoshop and Lightroom, will cover topics such as bringing your images into the computer, non-destructive editing, panoramas, high dynamic range photography, and fine art giclée printing. In addition to other free items, each student will receive free of charge, a fine art giclée print (up to 20” x 24”) of one of their images that has been created during the workshop.

The workshop will be held at the beautiful Shore Cliff Lodge in Pismo Beach. Special room rates have been arranged for the students.

By the way the workshop includes breakfast (a continental breakfast buffet served by the hotel). A relaxing lunch and snacks will be provided each day at the workshop; and each evening we’ll have dessert while we talk about the day and share images that we have created.

The Workshop Includes...

4 Photo sessions on location in Pismo Beach, California - 2 professional photographers will attend to your needs, including Chuck Behrman and Jim Vincolisi, owner of the B&W Gallery in nearby Atascadero. The gallery specializes in black & white traditional and digital photography.
